Projenin Amacı |
Education is one of the most powerful tools to support us in making the right and more responsible decisions while meeting our needs and goals. Education can reconcile consumption with freedom and responsibility and we aim to teach our students to be responsible citizens. At the same time, students will improve their English as a global language as well as their IT skills. Socioculturally, students will reflect upon other realities in which young people like themselves live and how their own actions can make a difference. In this way, they will learn about the environment, human rights and geopolitical issues. |

Proje Özeti |
This global and collaborative project seeks to raise awareness of the Sustainable Development Goals, to help students create a more sustainable world by 2030, where extreme poverty has been eradicated, climate change is properly addressed and injustice and inequality are unacceptable. Our mission is to ensure that every student, teacher and parent on the planet knows what the Sustainable Development Goals are, so that they stand the greatest chance of being achieved. Our consumption choices are powerful decisions that we make in our everyday life; they shape markets and production patterns and have tremendous impacts on our natural resources and ecosystems as well as on our global community – contributing to issues such as climate change and human rights (UNESCO, Green Citizens). We believe that education for sustainable development (ESD) will give our students appropriate information on the impacts of their daily choices as consumers. |
